Staying true to its vision of nurturing creativity, The Rising Marian (TRM) Editorial Board proudly hosted the TRM Student Expression Awards – July 2025 edition of its digital school magazine. Far more than a traditional school publication, TRM has established itself as a pioneering platform where Marian students can express their ideas, talents, and imagination with a reach that extends well beyond the classroom.
This edition celebrated excellence across story writing, essay writing, poetry, and artwork. It also featured the Best Class Award for the class with the highest number of submissions and the Best House Award for the house with the strongest participation, reinforcing TRM’s role as a collective celebration of creativity.
In his opening address, Mr. Darvinder Singh, Founder & Editor-in-Chief, reflected on TRM’s remarkable journey. What began as a modest effort to showcase student voices has, in just a few months, grown into the top-ranked school magazine on Google Search in Dibrugarh, Assam, and across Northeast India. The July 2025 edition alone has drawn over 5,000 readers, a milestone that speaks to both the magazine’s growing influence and the talent of Marian students.
Mr. Singh emphasized that TRM is not just a magazine but a bridge between students and alumni, a living archive of Marian creativity, and a unique model of digital innovation in education. Its true strength lies in its contributors, the young writers, poets, and artists whose work gives the magazine its identity and enduring spirit.
